Our Story
Technology should expand opportunity—not become another barrier.
We built Tech 4 All Tennessee on a simple, urgent belief: people who lack access to technology, the skills to use it, and reliable internet cannot fully participate in modern economic and civic life.
Since 2019, we have worked every day to close that gap—one person, one cohort, and one community at a time.
When we began, teaching someone to use email, navigate a website, or complete an online application was genuinely transformative. For many people, it still is.
But the definition of being digitally capable has changed. Artificial intelligence is now part of everyday work and life. Technology is evolving faster than any fixed curriculum can keep pace, and the emotional demands of constant change are real.
We have learned that lasting success requires more than technical knowledge. People also need confidence, curiosity, problem-solving, communication, resilience, and the ability to keep learning.
We are not abandoning digital literacy or workforce readiness. We are expanding the frame around both to reflect the full picture of what people need to remain capable long after a class ends.

Our host sites include libraries, senior centers, churches, ministries, technical education campuses, public agencies, nonprofit organizations, and other community-based locations.
This partnership-based approach helps us reach residents who may face transportation, broadband, financial, or confidence barriers.

Keeping technology working—and out of landfills.
Pounds of electronics diverted from landfills since 2019
Through community donations, refurbishment, redistribution, and responsible recycling partnerships, usable technology is given a second life whenever possible.
Equipment that cannot be reused is directed to responsible recycling channels, reducing waste while expanding technology access.
